The Village Galleries have been representing Hawaii’s most sought-after artists since 1970. This beloved Maui landmark has two locations on the Valley Isle – one in Lahaina and the other at the Ritz-Carlton in Kapalua. One of its greatest claims to fame is the Annual Maui Plein Air Painting Invitational Event.

Built inside a historic estate between the towns of Paia and Makawao, the Hui No’eau is a space where creative minds and spirits come together. It offers space for artist studios, weekly classes, and a gift shop alongside its exhibition galleries.This venue is also legendary among Maui’s art community, from creators to collectors.
The LAS operates a pair of art exhibition spaces in one of Maui’s most historic spots, the Lahaina Courthouse. Exhibits of member-artists are rotated regularly for fair exposure in these galleries. Featured artists include photo-realistic painter Amanda McCumbee, photographer Marty Wolff, and feather artist Ellen Levinsky.
Located on Maui’s North Shore town of Makawao, Jordanne Weinstein’s art gallery is worth the drive for the opportunity to watch the painter wield her brush. Even if you don’t catch the master at work, you will be treated to vivid and whimsical pieces combining Impressionist and Expressionist traditions that capture the genuine character of Maui Island.
